THE ULTIMATE Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

For best effect, play at MAXX VOL

Shout outs to my bro, my noisebros, and all my chiptune friends for the inspiration, motivation, and collaboration over the years!!

100% Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

The first of my "Percent" series which really had nothing to do with each other.

200% Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

I wrote myself into a corner very quickly on this one :|

300% Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

This track is soooooooo dope and it makes me feel good inside

400% Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

This one didn't really do it for me but I like those soft pads in the background

500% Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

M E A T Y

600% Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

This is some sort of sick joke right? Nope, this dumb loop somehow got a PERCENT title. That was the end of that.

Growth Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

This track's filename was "bluppamans.wav" which cracks me up

Dave Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

Lots of mystery to this track. Why's it called Dave? I think my brother wrote this and I put some glitter on it.

Crepuscular Rays Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

Lots of mystery to this track. Why's it called Dave? I think my brother wrote this and I put some glitter on it.

Haunt Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

This has the composition of a hymn and it is the most relaxing thing I have ever made

Reef (Loop) Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

This loops perfectly so you can listen to it forever

FIGHT!!! Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

Basically I made a few different sequences with a mono/porta instrument (meaning they can only produce one note at a time, no chords) and then stacked the sequences on top of each other, making unique sequences with each combination. I wanted to animate this like I want to make a video for everything (and never, ever have).

The End Of Time Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

This track was originally meant to be the title track of a concept LP about cat people that nuked their planet or something

Fractal Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

This one strays (even further) from the chiptune sounds that I more typically use. It's kind of unsettling!

Blue Bird Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

This track at one point was called Goodnight but that's dumb. It's Blue Bird now. I was very honored to hear this at my brother's wedding reception because he liked it that much. :')

Grim Kingdom Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

This is the weirdest song. It gets this sewer vibe three and a half minutes in; what is that about?

Lost Planet Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

A world of

Indescribable Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

Some dreamy track I've been hearing in my head periodically for close to a decade

Palace Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

AKA JAMS2

This song rips

Moving Out Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

Packing up, hitting the road, never looking back

Pause Sub Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

Back when this awesome netlabel called PAUSE existed (iimusic.net - defunct as of ~2013) I thought it would be cool to release an album through them. I guess I took too long!

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

This song is fun to listen to for 45 minutes straight. Use it in a game!

PYLO Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

HuskyStarcraft anyone? This is a weird internet joke song that I covered. I actually like it a lot!

Screwdriver Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

Vodka and orange juice

Silver Horseman Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

Fun with note length

Star King Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

He's got a cape and a scepter and a moustache and he looks like he belongs in a Kirby game

Strike Fist: Dark Lightning Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

2dope4u (⌐■_■)

Swampy Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

This song is super old and boring. Look how far I've come!

Fluorescent Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

It used to be called The Fluorescent Chase because I (as always) had some music video concept story thing to go with it that never amounted to anything but a weird picture of a power ranger running down a hallway

Try Again Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

I regularly use filenames to describe a song or project to myself, so I always thought "Try Again" meant the song therein was no good, but it's great!

Amish Bonnet Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

What are titles

Day Man (Loop) Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

For Everyone

Dracumanz Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

This has a lead instrument that reminds me of vampires. It's also longer than it ought to be, but I have no control over these things!

Hey-O Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

Yeah this is one measure long but it loops in a fun way

Softworld Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

It's made of cotton candy clouds

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp credits blurb)

Chris Darin made the weird little dude that went 'soft kick' and 'soft punch' and I made this song about his life

Them Ol' Cows Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

Ice-Cream-Truck-Core

bleh.wav Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

Little loop, aptly named

blah.wav Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

I also had buh.wav and ugh.wav and meh.wav and whatever.wav but those didn't make it on this album because they're GARBAGE

furgh.wav Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

Draw your own conclusions on this one. The swing drums don't match the aggressive backing instruments which devour the cute little tune and make it a completely bizarre journey

OK Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

I love that little pitch bend

Shower Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

Laser Fight Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

The toms make it

Der (Loop) Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

Pleiades Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

✨ A beautiful cluster of blue stars near Taurus ✨

Space Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

The beginning of my Depths album which was never released. The two ships, one gold, one silver, hurtle toward Earth.

Waves Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

Our tiny protagonists fight fish and seagulls and boats and lots of waves as they enter the ocean on their mission to recover the Life Stone from the clutches of the malevolent ruler of an interstellar race of ocean monsters! We suffer some damage, but our mission demands we go on!

Heart Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

We plunge deeper and deeper into the ocean, in search of the monstrous sea beast.

Depths Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

The monster is revealed! Our heroes engage it in battle; the Life Stone will be ours! But our heroes meet with tragedy as the gold ship is destroyed, killing all onboard. Despite their loss, the silver ship is victorious, recovering the Life Stone from the lair of the Deep King.

Reef Listen on: Bandcamp

Curt Blakeslee: (Bandcamp about blurb)

Victorious against the monstrous sea beast that dwells in the Heart Of The Ocean's Depths, our protagonist emerges... alone... from inky blackness to a world of color and sunlight and promise.
