I had a vivid idea of what I wanted to do for the track since I basically first saw the artwork. I knew I wanted to shy away from the feel of Eridan's original theme by taking it and twisting it into an intense, darker version. I had recently aquired the Zero G - Datafile sample CDs, so I made use of them by sticking in the acid base loop that's used prominently throughout the track. Since this song goes along with Eridan's descent with his little Murderstuck shenanigans, I thought a nice nod to the "5X SHOWDOWN COMBO" with "MeGaLoVania" and "mIrAcLeS" would be a pretty cool nod. YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS: FISH!
