Hush is my first new record in a few years, and it's just as shotgun as ever. There's dance tracks, rock tracks, and ballads all mixed and cross-pollinated to create this album. The songs are about communication, secrecy, transformation, madness, and silence. No guests this time - just me and my big ego. Fall in the Hush.

I'm glad you guys see the value in the message stuff. I feel like outside of hip hop you don't see a lot of music with a message these days. A lot of very personal work, a lot of good grooves, but not a lot of musicians who feel like putting their worldview out there.

Still very proud of the video.
Based on a lot of different visual art. I'd love to spend more time on video art.
Some of the art I was studying at the time.
I think I'm always trying to figure out what level I'm going for
Music and otherwise
Trying to find a balance between abstract stuff and really literal stuff

The visual piece Bowman was studying is an untitled work by Ed Moses, most likely from 1975-1977 (cross-referencing the description in his photo with this print sale page for a similar work).
