That was the image, and recreating it sat on our projects list as a "meme idea that will never happen" for over a year. We finally decided to start obsessively bringing it back to life about a month ago.
The biggest challenges during the planning stage were the longer tracks, particularly Bowman's Credit Score: A Rock Opera, which we "downsized" back to a bowman soundfont swap but ended up being hilariously complex anyway, and The Baby is 2, which we actually brought to life with really shitty mics and a lot of heart. Both came out way better than we expected. Another challenge was getting a 11 hour song onto Bandcamp while dealing with their 600MB limit, it involved a lot of silence and making the song mono, but don't worry, the download includes the original song in stereo with no padding.
Also worth mentioning, SplitSuns' newest masterpiece: The Return of Mobius Trip and Hadron Kaleido, I can't recommend it enough. Go listen to it now.

This track is 11:41:30 in the Bandcamp release, but it's just 1:55 of music, 30 seconds of willfromafar saying the lines in the lyrics, and 11:39:45 of silence. For wiki purposes, only the short, downloadable, Youtube version of the track is preserved here. Also I was the one who extended the track to 11 hours so I deserve this artistic license......

wanted this one to be as funky as possible. drew snoop dogg uncannily realistic in honor of hussie’s weird style choices. it’s a really good fuckin track. when Makin streamed it he also shared a video of the Sans battle, except Sans was Snoop. it was awesome.

Much like the Penumbra Phantasm remix, this was extended with memes on Bandcamp, another thirty seconds to fit the timeframe, but is only available in short form for download, and replicated as such here. The longer version also samples "Spanish Flea" by Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass during the Bolin speech.
i got pretty lazy with this cover and focused on making it look good design-wise rather than spending a lot of time on it. the song is based on the original music for the Midnight Crew Flash, by Bill Bolin, who ordered Hussie to remove all his music from Homestuck after a fight. thus the end part.

a keen eye will be able to tell i put more red around the daves, gave john’s kick a bit more flare so it wouldnt look like he was jetting air out of his foot, and flipped the tereziflip upside down as she should be

THIS ONE WAS DRAWN BY @itsnightsyo AND COLOURED BY ME. we thought it’d be pretty neat to do a collab. i discussed it with nights and offered the idea of recreating the “how do i live” scene with john and she drew this wonderful piece, and i tried my best to bring it to life with bright colours, as well as drawing the background (everything but the sun + text) which nights decided should be based on the “thanks for playing” scene. i think that my bold colouring and nights’s uncanny ability to draw loose expressive humanoid figures makes for a good combo.
i’ve drawn more art for other albums, but this will have to wait as they have not been released yet :P
hopefully one day i will be skilled enough to make music AND art, like hadron and nights
